Sorry guy. I hated the Dark Knight the first time i saw it, when it was called... Saw II.

That is a good example of why you were banished to British Columbia by the village elders

Never saw (zing) Saw II. I don't ken to what you're saying exactly.

He is referring to all the traps the joker set. With the boats and the bombs and the masks etc.

Shazam.

The next villain will be two face -- his death was too vague, implied, and early for the story arc of Dent's fall from grace.

Everything around his 'death' scene, as well as the memorial service, seems to point to the birth of Two Face, rather than the death of Harvey Dent.

Wowza! Dan so rocks!!!

And Tyler too!

: )

I rock as well? Excellent.
My conversation with Matt the other night helped to convince me that Two-Face isn't dead which is awesome because I would love to see more of him.

I'm going to see it again tomorrow night with the ol' ball and chain. I will take a second look and see if I agree with you guys.

Also, I love that at least three people have listened to this thing, makes me want to continue.

I don't understand, if Two-Face didn't die, then why hold a funeral at the end? Did they just look the other way and he took the opportunity to run off?

Personally I'm not convinced Watchmen is going to be good. Visuals is one thing, but the book is pretty damn complex to smoosh into a movie.

Oh and hi Dan and Tyler!

I am not entirely convinced that he isn't dead as well Shane. I saw it again and I can see why it might be seen this way though.

My thoughts about how he isn't dead go something like this: The death is made up by Gordon and Batman to maintain Harvey's reputation. He falls, he doesn't die and is knocked out. Batman and Gordon won't kill him so they lock him up in Arkham and hold a phony wake to appease the public. After all, the same fall didn't kill Batman and that dude had just been shot.

Also, hi Shane!

Ok -- think about this. Batman's only rule is not to kill.

It seems kind of strange that he would break it for someone who was presumably, at one point, his friend, and someone he had sympathy for, but not the joker (someone who he had very good reasons to want to kill).

Another thing:

I don't know how carefully you were watching the scene, but as Two Faces coin drops along with him, it lands on heads, which was 'live'. The camera specifically cuts to the coin to show this.

To be entirely honest, it didn't even occur to me that he might be dead while watching the movie. It was only after, talking to other people, that I was aware people thought he had died.

I guess so. It just seems to me that if Two-face lives and escapes and kills again, people would still believe him to be Harvey Dent, and all the good he did would very possibly still be undone, which they tried to prevent.

At the very least it seems like the fallout after discovering "Dent" is still alive would be catastrophic for Gordon
