Welcome to our oh so spooky Halloween edition. On all hallows eve we discussed scary movies, government conspiracies, the rapey nature of hill-billies and Dan lays down a review of Fallout 3. Also dear children of the night, please enjoy excellent sound quality this week, except for the last minute or so when gremlins got in the microphone.

Dan, Thora Birch is not weird, she selflessly gained 20 pounds to play her role in Ghostworld, and I loved her for it. Also, she was not 5 in that movie, it was made in 1993, when I was 5, and she is a good 5 years older than me. Do the math boys.
I have posted some love for your podcast in the form of a comment, you may return the love in the form of comments on my blog. Thank you.
You were 5 in 1993? That sounds like witch-talk to me Victoria.
Ghostworld was a great movie. But no boobies in it.
Hey guys,
Please don't burn my house down. I tried to think of a hillbilly movie sans rape, but I was drawing a blank. Found a good 'essay' on the hillbilly genre, though:

As for slasher films being terrible, I'm mostly in agreement, except perhaps for the Hannibal Lecter series. Love those.
Sleepy Hollow is probably my favourite 'horror' movie. That movie kicks ass.
For some reason it wouldn't let me sign in, oh well.
Tyler, I share your disappointment about no boobs in Ghostworld.
Maybe I was 6 in '93, maybe.
A hillbilly movie without rape is like a zombie movie without weak, screaming female protagonists. Unless you count Oh Brother Where Art Thou. Was that a hillbilly movie though?
Naw, O brother where art thou was just about the south.
Beveryly Hillbilly Ninja????
Dan, send me your address please! ill send you a disk
